Founding and Growth Through the Years

Established in 1982 here in Commerce, TX by Pastor Raines, Bread of Life Church of the Nazarene has grown and evolved to become an integral part of our local community. Today, Pastor David Lay, leads us in providing timely, sound biblical teachings that reflect our mission and purpose. He’s unafraid to tackle relevant, hot topics while building community connections rooted in hope and love.

Milestones and Achievements

We’re proud to have made a difference in many lives through our Bread of Life Food Pantry, serving around 300 clients per month. Offering a variety of canned and dry goods, frozen meats, bread, and personal hygiene items, our pantry is a testament to our dedication to service.
